Already sending WhatsApp messages from your software with another provider's link? Good news: our API was built to understand the same style of link that many popular WhatsApp panels use. In most cases you change only two things and your software keeps working.
The two things to change
Part of the link
Old
New
Address

Your old key
Your E-Public Touch key (Part 1)
account
Old account / instance ID
Your account ID from panel Step 2, or remove it to use your main number
In the left menu, under Get started, click Moving from another API.
The page says Paste one of your old links here. Paste your old link in Your old link and click Fill the boxes. Nothing is sent.
Paste the old link and click Fill the boxes. Nothing is sent until you click Send now.
The right page opens (for example Text) with the matching boxes filled: number, type, message, file link and so on. A green box on top lists what was Filled in and what was Not used (unknown here). Under it, ← Back to Moving from another API takes you back if you want to paste another link.
Check step 1, Your API key. It is open as a box. If your old link had a key, that old key is now in the API key box. Replace it with your E-Public Touch key (keys from other websites do not work here). If step 1 is one closed line, click Change to open it.
If the old link had an account ID, step 1 says Sends from account … and shows the box Your WhatsApp number. Click Load my numbers to pick your own number, or clear the box to use your main number. Then click Done.
Check the phone on the right (How it looks on the phone), then click Send now to test with your own number. Then open Link & code for your software under it, click Copy link and put the new link into your software.
The green box tells you what was filled. Step 1 opens so you can put your own key and number.
Other names we understand
Different panels use different names for the same thing. We accept the common ones, so your software may work without any change in the names. (The same list is on the Moving from another API page: under Other names we understand, open the fold For developers: the list of other names.)

Checklist before you switch
Connect your WhatsApp number in E-Public Touch. Our team helps you with this.
Create your templates again in our panel and get them approved. Templates belong to your WhatsApp account, so if your number moved, check that they show in Templates (or on the tester's My templates page). Use the same names, and your template links keep working.
Create an API key (Part 1) and test one message with your own number (Part 2).
Change the link in your software and send a few test messages. Not sure where the link sits in your software? Click Ask AI to connect this in the tester (Part 12).
Watch Recent API calls in your panel for a day to catch any red answers.
What you get after the switch
Every API message and every reply in one Live Chat, along with your chatbot and campaigns.
Plain-English answers and a delivery tracker, so you know exactly what happened.
Safety features: link previews blocked, duplicate protection, separate keys with daily limits.
A team in India that helps you on WhatsApp.
What next?
One more thing your old provider may not have had: Part 11 shows how to send several messages at once (text, photo, PDF and location in one link), and how to put a photo, text and buttons in one rich message. If you get stuck anywhere, message us on WhatsApp. We are happy to set it up with you.
